Why choose our products?

High quality Spirulina

FDA

Our spirulina ponds are sampled daily and examined carefully. We pamper them!

Our spirulina is dried to low temperatures to preserve all its vitamins & proteins.

Each batch is then analyzed by independent laboratories in the Philippines and abroad to ensure safety and good quality.

Our Farm

20210428145708_IMG_3714-min.JPG

Established in 2017, Blue Eco Farm is located in Rosario, Batangas away from the city and pollution.

Our small team is composed of Filipino workers living near the farm.

Under our two greenhouses we now have two large- and three medium-sized ponds. Harvesting takes place every day. Each pond is harvested according to its concentration of spirulina and the weather.

After the harvest, spirulina is immediately pressed, shape in spaghetti, then dried and crushed in granules at the end of the day.

The cultivation of spirulina is very labor-intensive and requires a lot of know-how.

Samples of each of our batches are sent to local and foreign laboratories for analyses to ensure the best product 😊

Spirulina for a sustainable future

Spirulina is not only a superfood, it can make a real impact on food security and the environment.

  • Spirulina cultures do not require fertile land as cultures are done in ponds.

  • Spirulina is sensitive and doesn't use any pesticides whatsoever

  • Spirulina cultures need less water than any other food production.

  • Our spirulina is 100% locally grown in our farm in Rosario. By choosing to buy local, you decrease your carbon footprint, by reducing the use of fuel or gasoline needed to bring the spirulina from the farm to your plate!

  • Buy choosing artisanal spirulina growing in a “human scale” farm,  (in small batches), you not only chose high-quality spirulina (with monthly quality controls) but also support Philippine agriculture and preserve jobs.
